Canada’s Only Moissanite Store is Coming to Ottawa! The New Generation of Jewellery is Bringing the Sparkle to Westboro Village

Ottawa, ON – Moissy Fine Jewellery is hosting the official opening of its third location in the trendy Westboro Village community at 431 Richmond Road on Friday November 6th, 2020 from 10:30am to 11:00am. 

A small, invited group will be in attendance with strict adherence to social distancing regulations and mandatory mask wearing by all guests. 

The ribbon-cutting will take place between 10:30 to 10:45am with remarks from Moissy Fine Jewellery owners Lloyd and Colleen Montague, Westboro Village Executive Director Judy Lincoln and a special welcome message from Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson. 

Moissy Fine Jewellery is the only fine jewellery company in North America that specializes in 100% moissanite. With locations in Toronto and Arizona (the birthplace of moissanite), Moissy is expanding during COVID-19 while other businesses are closing. This is because they are offering an affordable gemstone that fits the pandemic budget, but still gives that diamond sparkle.

The Westboro Village store will service customers from Ottawa and Montreal, many of whom were making the drive to the Toronto store for their jewellery shopping. Colleen Montague was recently featured on October’s cover of Canadian Jewellery Magazine – the first Black woman to do so in the magazine’s 135-year history.
