My Foray Into Live Stream Production
I worked on a new sector of my career in June: live stream production. I was hired by the phenomenal team at WorldCast Live to produce a 3 hour broadcast of the 33rd annual 116th Street Festival in NY. Just like breaking news, which I've produced for the last 20 years or so, ANYTHING can happen at a live music festival and you have to come up with solutions in seconds without the viewer knowing there is a problem. It helps when you have amazing, professional hosts like Miss Yaya, Roman Suarez aka The Funny Latino and Tito Puente Jr. Live streaming festivals is a great way to bring the fun to millions of viewers and generate a new revenue stream for organizers. It's exciting times....my next big event: Miami Carnival!!
