The 9th Annual Meet the Motivators Celebrates Women in Leadership

The 2-Day Symposium offers Workshops, Panels and a Keynote from Personal Finance Expert Pattie Lovett-Reid

April 24, 2024 (Toronto,ON) - Meet the Motivators Inc. is proud to announce its upcoming symposium, "Celebrating Women in Leadership," marking nine years of empowering women and girls to pursue leadership roles within their communities and careers. 

The two-day event takes place on Saturday May 18th at Sheridan College Davis Campus, 7899 McLaughlin Rd in Brampton, starting at 9:00AM with workshops and expert panels; and May 19th at The Woodbine Banquet Hall, 30 Vice Regent Blvd., Etobicoke, starting at 4:30PM, featuring keynote speaker Personnel Finance Expert Pattie Lovett-Reid.

"This year's installment promises to be a transformative and unforgettable experience as we pay tribute to the indomitable spirit and remarkable achievements of women in leadership," says Jacqueline Dixon, founder of Meet the Motivators Inc. "Our symposium will provide valuable skills, insights, and connections to help ensure personal and professional success."

The symposium is in support of The Resilient Woman Program, a monthly mastermind workshop aimed at developing female leaders within grassroots communities who have faced various hardships.

Day 1 Workshops:

  • Inspire & Thrive: Motivational Workshop for Cultivating Positivity & Success -  President of Sharma-Singh Immigration Inc, Mala Sharma-Singh

  • Healing Hearts: Empowering Women’s Journey to Overcoming Love Addiction - Mental Health Professional, Donna Campbell

  • Global Connect: A Networking Workshop for New Immigrants - Community Advocate & Political Advisor, Jenny Kalimbet

Day 2 will host high-level talks with women leaders in politics and media. Among them are award-winning TV host Nneka Elliot, CTV News Anchor Andria Case, and the Honourable Dr. Jean Augustine.

"Our speakers will provide practical tips, strategies, and insights for success, as well as a sense of community and empowerment," promises Dixon. “We also have the lovable and inspiring Spider Jones, who always brings a powerful message of hope against all odds.”

Flow 98.7 FM will be present for live coverage of Day 1 and will conclude Day 2 with a FLOW Dance Party. Entertainment includes performances from Sunday Singers, The “Quincy Bullen” Band featuring Belinda Brady, Hips Don’t Lie dance group and a fashion show by 6ix Element Designers.
